This product does not work. It hasn’t worked since day one. The stopper will not open if the tub is even halfway filled with water. We’ve had to pry it open with a knife. Once open, you can basically pull the entire thing out from the drain, which isn’t safe for our young children (see photo). Unfortunately, we only saw the other terrible product reviews after it was already installed in our new bathroom. We had an experienced plumber install this so we know it isn’t an installation issue. I am astounded that Kohler even sells a product this bad. Do not buy this.
