Our Brushed Bronze set looks really nice but just broke. Ours lasted 6 years, but You'd expect that quality products to last many decades. The plastic connector inside the handle broke, just as mentioned in the other reviews.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had nothing but problems with this same part. Why would you design major connection part out of composite/plastic with a cheap aluminium screw to hold it in place. How could you expect that type of cheap component to handle (no pun intended) the stress of turning a shower valve off and on to have any longevity. I sent away for the rebuild kit that was supposed to have taken care of this problem a year ago. Well it only lasted about 8 months and I'm back to having to use pliers to operate my shower valve. I had this installed by a licensed plumbing contractor so don't ell me its due to incorrect depth on my rough in, either. I pulled the whole handle assembly off and drove over it with my truck I was so frustrated. I have tried countless hours to repair or figure out why it didn't work. I finally gave up. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Kohler you should be better than this.

product materials were poor in quality and the internal parts broke often. easily could have used a better material. product failed in different ways on the same part. materials broke and or get worn so handle is rendered useless. a replacement part should be offered for the specific failing part but instead hole new assembly is only offered.

We had our Devonshire set installed by our contractor one year ago. The handle broke and upon inspection it is due to the plastic casing. We had three bathrooms built/remodeled and only this handle broke.
