Just what I needed to complete my project.

The control unit performs the very basic function of turning the Kohler Steam Generator ON/OFF, setting time/temperature, and as an added feature it has a clock. Other than these three basic functions I would not expect anything else from this product. One thing that is truly irritating is that fact that the brightness of the display cannot be adjusted. This is incredibly annoying when trying to relax in a steam shower at night or trying to take a shower. The light is incredibly bright. Another is the fact that you are not able to set the clock unless you turn the steam unit ON. Not just "waking" it up, but actually turning the unit on as if to admit steam into the shower. Also, not having a basic sleep function might help eliminate or reduce the brightness annoyance. While running the unit, the display will only show either the Timer or Temperature. It does not cycle through to show the current temperature or time remaining. You have to physically press the Timer or Temperature button and then it will display the set value follower by the current time remaining or temperature. Given the basics above that this unit lacks, I will forego mentioning any of the current abilities of technology we have become accustomed to in 2023. I will let you know that is does not have any of those features. My entire Master Bathroom remodel was done with Kohler products that I am overall satisfied with, and I know the company has a fantastic reputation. This product sorely misses the mark and I am incredibly disappointed.

The steam shower control panel, the digital clokc/timer is too bright while at darkness. Is it possible to adjust the bright level? Looking forward your reply. Thx!
