I love this look and have it in every bathroom. But it’s harder to clean than the modern ones

This toilet comes in two different boxes. For a reason I cannot fathom, Kohler has not seen fit to include any padding in the boxes. There is not a piece of styrofoam, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or even balled-up brown paper to be found. It's a heavy item made of porcelain, thrown in a cardboard box. First picture is the tank lid of the first toilet I received. Second picture is the bowl of that same toilet. Once again, I didn't take anything out of the box, this is exactly what I saw when I opened it. Third photo is the bowl of the replacement toilet they sent me. Keep in mind that when I reported what had happened with the first delivery, and was offered a replacement, I pointed out that the same issue was going to happen, unless there was packaging added in the Kohler box in the warehouse. The agent I was chatting with told me he would make a note to ensure that would be done. I was skeptical, but decided to act in good faith and at least let them try to remedy the situation. As you can see on the last picture, no such padding was included, and it's in even worse shape than the first one I was sent. I chatted with another agent, and was offered a full refund. As it is, I now have two toilets, spread across 4 boxes in my garage. The garbage trucks in my city do not accept toilets, which means that I now need to find someone with a vehicle to bring those toilets to an ECO-Centre, or pay a service like 1-800-GOT-JUNK to come pick them up. In any case, I have not only wasted time on my bathroom reno, but I'm actually worse off than when I started because I have another task on my to-do list. Stay far, far, far away from this product.

Shipment was quick and arrived in tack. FYI-only issue you have to buy the ring seal for the floor. Love this style - was in my last refurbish and knew I wanted the same style for this project. So far it’s great.
