This adapter was just what I needed to avoid replacing my shower arm which would have been a much bigger expense. However, no instructions were provided.

I'm not happy that the standard shower arm size has changed, but I am very happy with this product. It came with the shower head, adapter, and gasket. Installation was as easy as removing the old shower head, threading the adapter on to the new shower head, inserting the gasket into the existing shower arm, and threading the adapter on to the shower arm. Everything fits well and no leaks. The spray pattern of the new shower head is great. It's not multi-function, but it's got good distribution.
