This is a really good fan, with some caveats. Pros Nice looking fan. White blends in nicely. The grate on the front is not your normal looking grate - has a nice looking design. Big base. Speeds - has 3 speeds and even the lowest speed puts out a lot of breeze. My apt is hot hot hot and I use this fan for sleeping. Have not turned it higher than the first setting, which is plenty to keep me cool and comfortable. At its highest, is a good height but can also be adjusted down. I had a little issue with the remote when I first got it - could not get the batteries in. Turns out I was using AAA rechargeable batteries and some of those have a little more heft than regular AAA. All good now. Cons it is impossible for me to get the front grate entirely snapped in. Hoping it does not fall out! The biggest gripe for me pertains to the pole that goes into the base. According to instructions you have to turn the pole as you are pushing down and supposed to snap in. No snapping in for me. I have picked up to move several times and the pole came out of the base. Additionally, the piece that you tighten to keep the pole height does not seem to tighten properly. It has not fallen down but still seems to be a bit flimsy. I plan on contacting Wayfair to see if they can assist with those issues.
