This door must be assembled. It is not difficult but it was a good thing my husband did most of it with my assistance. It did take two of us at times. It is bare wood and was primed and painted by us but I am happy with how it turned out!

Beautiful door. Easy to put together. Very heavy packages and I had to manipulate my door frame a bit but they look great! We ended up putting a long board on the wall underneath the rail system to get it to open smoothly and its just the sophisticated touch it needed.

It was delivered quickly and was easy to assemble. Comes with everything you need-gloves, sand paper, etc. We haven’t stained it yet but looks great so far. No gaps in the wood.

I am so bummed that a series of unfortunate events have kept us from installing this GORGEOUS Solid Wood Barn Door yet. Between COVID, and contractor issues, it is boxed back up and laying READY to install. When it arrived in a tall narrow box I couldn’t understand how it would work, but it is a series of wood panels you use to construct the door. It is SOLID and heavy wood and its BEAUTIFUL!! I will be painting it a taupe-y dark gray color. We are placing it over the door opening down to the basement. Then, it will slide left, closing off the opening to a small alcove next to the half bath where there is not currently a door. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I will update this review with photos, the INSTANT it is installed.

This was possibly the easiest assembly ever. This door kit is very well packaged with all the items properly marked, & all the pieces cut to fit perfectly. This couldn't have been easier! The doors aren't as heavy as you would expect, but the wood has beautiful grain & its sanded smooth, so no extra work other that staining is required. The kit comes with everything you need including extra sandpaper & gloves. Pro tip: stain your parts prior to putting together, & use wood glue in addition to the provided screws. These came out beautifully & I highly recommend them, great value & beautiful look!
