Confusing, 100 the instructions are not clear so if you’re someone who don’t know what you’re doing, I recommend that you get someone professional to hang. It is heavy so you would need anchors to put it into the wall but there are no holes or slots or anchor brackets on the back side of this fireplace mantle so this is really something that you need to go out and buy all the other materials screws brackets you have to attach brackets to the back of the mantle and You have to attach brackets to your wall. On the corbels they do not come attached to mantle so I don’t know how you would have to attach them other than You having to buy more brackets brackets to attach the back of the corbels and then screw to your wall or the mantle in return creating so many holes. Corbels and mantel should have braces attached to them in the wood then it would be easier for the consumer to attach to wall. This is not a complete set and ready to hang up type of item.

I absolutely love this mantle! The color is beautiful and will look perfect above my white brick fireplace. It seems relatively easy to hang however I don’t believe that any hardware was provided aside from instructions

This shelf seems to be high quality - with great weight. It feels solid and well constructed. Hanging it was a bit challenging and that’s why I rate it 3 stars. It says mounting hardware is included - but other than a thin piece of wood with “remove” handwritten on it, im not sure what else could be used to hang the shelf. I thought maybe I was missing the hardware to hang it, but when I tried to contact, I couldn’t get in touch with anyone to confirm. So I added extra brackets and tried to make it work.
