Very solid , better than the wood frame models, but I was not thrilled with the slow close mechamechanism only 1 of the 2 I bought worked properly. But on the other hand I didn't realize they were included for free as part of the door package so I still felt it was a great deal. ALL of The doors open & close smoothly.

Pros: Seems sturdy; Has soft close and soft open. Neutral: Instructions are sufficient, but not entirely clear or thorough on all steps. Cons: Depth stop for soft open is very difficult to adjust when the drywall and trim is installed, which must be done if not set perfectly during door frame install.

Steel pocket door frame always works better than the wooden ones. Soft open/close is a great added feature. Thanks
