Great looking doors! We converted a formal dining room to a first-floor office and had to frame in the doorway in order to use these doors, so we hired a carpenter to do so and install these doors. Installation of the doors was a little tricky due to having to frame in the doorway to install them, so I can't speak to how difficult or easy these doors would be to install normally. We stained the doors to match our trim (which came out great) & bought 2 sets of doorknobs from Wayfair (one passage and one security), in addition to a barrel bolt to ensure these doors can actually be locked/kept closed because otherwise they can just be pushed open (there is no mechanism to catch the doors/keep them closed). We used a boxer cutter to remove the plastic film from the glass panes, which wasn't difficult. Overall, these doors feel sturdy and look great & I'd recommend them! One thing I didn't realize since I don't think the product description mentioned it is that the actual brand of the door is Jeld-Wen, which my understanding is high quality and one of the bigger door manufacturers in the U.S.
