I am just now attempting to install this. On the package, it says go to the website for instructions because they're are zero instructions in the faucet package. Going to the website is an extra step I didn't need. But I watched the video and it says, "refer to your instructions to see if you should use plumbers tape." That was exactly the only question I had about installation! Unfortunately, as I mentioned, there ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE SHOWER HEAD. Today that I'm angry right now would be an understatement. Just put the instructions on the package and let the videos serve as backup! Oh, also, this is metal-colored plastic.
