I've never worked with PEX before. This MOEN M-Pact valve assembly had the most options for different grades of PEX. Turns out, the most common types are "A" and "B". Since my PEX was Shark Bite Type B, I didn't need the expansions fittings for the Type A, but since I was totally new to PEX, I'm glad I got them. They were a perfect match for my MOEN Genta trim pieces (also bought on Wayfair). Now, if I can figure out how to properly crimp a black finish copper ring around the PEX, I will have a beautiful tub filler.
