This was built solidly, and has performed with no problems. The brushed gold is actually a bit darker than similar items — more brushed bronze than gold. But, I’m very happy with the item. It works well!

We are doing a total renovation of the house we just bought. Of our 3 full baths, only was is going to have a tub. That bathroom's location is designated as the "formal bath" for when we entertain our frequent guests. So we are turning all of the accessories into gold & crystal fixtures to "dress" it'up. Can't wait for the 6 weeks to be over!
