If you are replacing an older Mr. Steam unit be aware that the connection for the temperature control is not compatible with the old control and Mr. Steam does not provide an adapter. A new wired control has to be installed which is a problem if the wire runs through walls. It It is impossible to replace without opening the wall. Mr. Steam recommends a wireless control which is not available via Wayfair. .
