The door is very nice. The dark walnut is beautiful. But the installation was difficult. The instructions were tough to decipher. All the boards in the instructions are numbered, but the boards themselves dont have numbers on them, nor does any of the hardware. All the boards are tongue and groove style. The smaller boards are screwed onto the longer boards, which creates a very solid door. The hinges work very well. The wheels roll smoothly on the track. There are instructions for whether you want it to fold to the left or to the right, but they are VERY confusing. I couldnt make much sense of it. I had to just just figure most of it out myself. All in all, it works pretty well. My only gripe is the installation process.

These doors are very beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! They are real wood and the color is spot on. But, there is a major design flaw. The instructions are poorly written and they cannot be installed as a bifold without modification. Unfortunately we will need to hire professional help to make these work.

This bifold wood door was just what I needed for my walk-in closet. It doesn’t require a lot of space once folded and open. I ordered it unfinished and in about three months it should take on the same patina as my shiplap walls. This door comes unassembled with beautifully sanded 12” spruce boards that can be put together with either the v-match side out or the butt side revealed. I chose to use the v-match side and show as much of it as possible because it was so pretty. The included hardware is excellent and heavy duty. I strip screws and I didn’t strip one! The barn door handle is included too! The door is very heavy once completed. I really liked that I was able to vary the design to match my decor, and it looks beautiful. The barn door mechanism hardware works seamlessly. I did need a few extra tools to assemble. It came with an allen wrench and a thin wrench but you will need two bar clamps, a ratchet nut driver, some large diameter drill bits for the hanger bolts, a level and forsner bit to make the hole on the bottom of the stationary side for the floor pin. I’m going to put these on all my closet doors in the future!

Hefty solid wood bi-fold doors come pre-stained and have a rustic design. The smokey gray color looks very similar to reclaimed barn wood. 48inch width comes with two sets of door panels packaged separately. Each set of panels must be attached by hinges/assembled before installation.
