This was a great latch to add to my hunting stand door so that it is secure, lockable, and weather-resistant. The handles themselves could use a bit of smoothing, as they felt fairly sharp on the palm when turning.

We live in Pennsylvania and winter has not ended here. The latch never froze up and work through our last few storms! I definitely recommend!

I have two small children, so this handle effectively kept them in the yard while allowing me easy access in and out with the turn of a handle. This latch feels to be of good quality metal. It survived a few rain storms without any signs of rusting. I'm keeping my eye out, but I don't think it will rust any time soon. The mechanism is smooth, no binding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This latch is made very sturdy. I like the way it is so easy for it to close. We installed it on our patio doors. The only thing I could find wrong with it is on the handle there was sharp edges. This can be taken care of by sanding it a little.
