It is a sturdy push button latch for my screen door. But after 1 year, the plastic bar on the latch broke. I needed to cut the screen to come back in the house.

This would be a decent economy product if the spindle had not been made of plastic. Do to the flexibility of plastic, combined with the fact that the spindle is slightly rotated at a complete opposite angle from the interior handle design, causes the latch to stick open. I wasted 2 hours of time trying to make every adjustment possible to fix this issue but you simply can't fix an extremely bad design. National USED to be Americas standard go-to hardware. I will never again purchase National Hardware. It's unfortunate there is not a zero star option.

Worked great for 3 days then the piece attached to the door frame broke.

Open and closed the door 3 times and the spring in the catch broke. Also plastic parts inside. Returning.

I like the durability and look of this product, but the instructions on the back are terrible. I recommend clearer, step by step instructions.
