as an 88 year old just right for my safety

GLAD IT WORKS, BUT DIFFICULT TO INSTALL

Have not put the grab bar up yet but it looks very sturdy.

Update: 2nd one fell. Fortunately, I knew better than to put my weight on it. I almost fell but I didn't. Terrible product. Bought 2 of these safety bars. Installed on wall of tile shower exactly as instructed. The surface was a single tile. Did not cross grout. Within a week, one of them failed when my brother leaned on it. He was putting a lot more weight on it than I ever would have in daily use. But it's scary to think what could have happened if I had needed the support, as I'm the one with the handicap. The other safety bar is set up vertically for stability only. I'm hoping it will work long term. Paid $181 for 2 of them. One failed. I got $64 back after paying for shipping. Wayfair will never get my business again. Ridiculous shipping fees. I can walk into local store and save a bunch of money.

Do not recommend as if us a safety hazard. Despite diligent installation it came off in under 3 weeks. Fortunately without injury but product is a liability for wayfair and should be discontinued
