Very beautiful door knobs, I got these to use on my bathroom door since they do have a lock on them, I have yet to figure out how to put them together even though they do come with great instructions, but during the holidays I did not want to start something that i might not be able to do and be left with out a door that shuts or locks in my bathroom of all places, so I will up date the photo’s more once i get it on the door. I got these in the pewter color, and love the back plate on them and the detail work on the knob itself, but I’m hoping that when cleaning it the finish will not come off, I am glad i did not choose the gold one due to the same concern of since there is such detailed work on the knob itself and peoples hands touching that exact part of it, You will have to clean it and clean it well verses having a knob with a plain handle, and since this will take more time to clean I do not want the finish to come wearing off on either side, so time will tell how that holds up, but at first look, they are beautiful and feel sturdy and well made, the ones that are on ever door where I bought my unit, I can not tell if they were gold or silver cause what ever the finish was has worn off the ones on my doors, so they need to be replaced, this is a great one to start the replacements, thank you See photo’s
