I love this machine because it works very well, it is a warm air humidifier and it holds 1.5 gallons and the extra size makes for great humidity in our parlor. I’ve had no leaking issues and there’s a wide control choice for the output light to heavy. But there is one problem. It might seem like a small thing but it’s very important. I removed one star because of it. I tried to capture the fault in photo2. In photo, you’re seeing the mechanism that releases water from the tank into the water well. The little round circle (inner button, size of a pencil eraser) is attached to a spring and it’s “loose” instead of being steady. It’s visibly crooked and if it snaps off, the entire humidifier will be no good. I noticed the wonky ‘pin’ immediately. My advice is to use great care when removing and replacing water tank on the base. You don’t want to put any undue or extra pressure on this very small but vital piece. I have many houseplants and I use loads of humidifiers to care for them in the dry winter air. This humidifier does everything I need but that faulty buttonpin is an accident waiting to happen. It quit working after 2 seasons

The humidifier arrived two days ago and I love it! It has solved our dry air problem in short order.

It has a hard time covering 800sqft. The RH only get to 31% and the refills are a pain too! on high setting 3 fills in on day!
