You know those photos you see when looking at various examples of lights like these, and they look rather dim Its like that. You might want to have an overhead light, too, so you have enough lighting. Also, to mount it, one places a bar on the wall, then slides the back of the cabinet down over it. (Not an easy task if youre doing it alone, and mounting it over a sink.) That means the wiring has to go under that bar. I had a special outlet on my wall into which a light bar could be plugged. I thought Id be able to wire the cabinet so it could be plugged in. Not possible. Theres no channel in the bar through which the wire can go. I had to remove the plug and wire the cabinet directly. In addition, I had to hang the cabinet several inches higher than I wanted to cover the opening in the wall. Not the best when theres a very petite individual in the house. Also I didnt see it mentioned in the information, but one cant use window cleaner on this mirror. One has to use a soft cloth. A large version of the microfiber cloth used to clean glasses works well. Those things are washable, so you eliminate both the use of chemicals and paper towels.

The quality of the cabinet itself is good and the light is nice, but could be a little brighter. The main issue is that the drivers (electronics) are bad. We bought 2, both buzz audibly, one is really bad and also flickers. The other one just buzzes :) Unfortunately we bought these early in our remodel and didn't install them until after our return period was over so we have to replace them ourselves which is over $100/each. So beware on the quality of the electronics.

Fits a lot of items inside, very classy looking and solid.
