Awesome ac and fits in side sliding window. 10,000 btu. Amazing

Once we finally got it put in it really works well, but the remote doesn’t seem to work as good so I don’t know if we need a new remote or what’s going on

The instructions are very disappointing they would be better to include a couple pictures of the installation process The AC unit is true to size and seems to work very good Other than the instructions the AC unit works very very good

So far, so good! 1st.. The unit is wonderful. Looks good, sounds good, no vibration when it runs, etc. No louder than a floor fan per my sound meter. Seem window units have come a long way! It's heavier in the box than after you pull it out to load in the window. A friend and I blew off the instructions, looked at the pictures and installed it in 45min-1hr. After it is in and on its included steel platform assembly (metal shelf), it is easy to move around, pull it out, put it back in, etc. Metal platform assembly seems sufficiently strong. It appears the right side of the AC frame (on my installation) should go inside the window frame (where the sliding glass would slide into). Now that it's been running for a few day, I will read the instructions and see if I can learn anything useful. Cuts completely off when it reaches the predetermined temp, fires back up without the old window unit growl, etc. I think I wish the low fan speed was a bit lower but the whole thing just sits in the window and does its thing. The remote is great, simple to use, has good instructions, etc. Having looked at portable systems (bad idea/very poor efficiency, etc.), one complaint was the LED display on the portable systems were very bright at night. I can turn the LED display off on this window unit from the remote. Also, apparently one can use the remote’s location as the point the temp is measured. This is called “follow me”. Five stars! This is my first purchase from Wayfair. Their support is good. They do a good job. I will try these guys again.. PS The unit showed up a day early! Overall, good fun!

It works quite well and is quiet enough. Why I didn't give it 5*: I wish there was a lower fan option. Also, my handyman who is very intelligent said that the instructions weren't easy to figure out.
