1/4 In., Clear Plastic, Locking Shelf Support Peg (8-Pack)

I got these shelf support pegs because a few of the ones that I already had needed to be replaced. They fit right into the holes. They appear to be stronger than the ones that were already there, so I’m hoping they will last longer.

I gave these 14 inch clear plastic, shelf support pegs a 3 Star because there were only 7 and not 8 . I believe this was because when I began to open the package I noticed the clear plastic cover was not completely attached on one side. Thus, causing one piece to fall out, when being handled as it was packed for shipping. So, I received only enough support pegs for installing 1 shelf. I plan on using a screw in the hole where the 4th peg would have gone. Also I had to re drill the holes a little bigger, as the diameter of the pegs was too large.

Received the 14 inch pegs and unfortunately they are too big for the holes. I rent so I cannot make holes bigger for pegs to fit. They were the right color as the ones we already and seem much more sturdier than the ones we had I just did not realize there were different sizes.

I ordered the 14 in. clear plastic pegs to hold shelving in place. They arrived in 2 days. They come 10 pegs in the package. They are very easy to install. You just put the round plastic piece into the hole and place the shelves onto the flat piece. The shelves that I have the pegs hold food products or pots and pans. They last for several years and if one breaks, just replace them.

I would add a picture of these “in action” if they actually fit in any of the cabinets in my house. The peg on these is huge and all the holes have to be drilled twice as large to fit the pegs. Who knew a simple project like adding shelves could be made so complicated?

I haven't installed any of these yet because they are too big to fit into the current holes drilled inside my cabinet but the quality seems good. They are thicker than the pegs they are replacing so that's a plus. I would buy them again if I needed more. The accomplish the job.
