Works really well. We have used them all over the house over the years. One caveat: it may happen that the spring gets misaligned, which makes it hard to close the lock without manually adjusting the spring. I believe this is a rare occurrence of a manufacturing fault, not a general design flaw. Over all, this is an excellent lock for sliding doors.

Excellent product. I feel secure when I lock sliding glass doors from inside. Doesn t matter who has a key they won t get in.
