Each feature an anti-lockout screw for child-safe mode, and they are reversible for use on both left and right-handed, swing-in, residential doors. These privacy locks are for use on interior doors only, as they are not designed for use as a security device on entry doors where greater security is required. These easy to install door locks mount over doorjamb surfaces only 2 screws, and they can usually be installed without the need to mortise into the wood.
