This is a beautiful knob. Unfortunately it does not fit our doors. It is made for a replacement on older doors with the same type of knob. I didn't read that correctly in the description. I'm determined to make it work with one of my doors.

This is a very pretty doorknob. The crystal knob is heavy and appears to be good quality. It was easy to install, unfortunately I didn’t look at the specifications so it doesn’t fit my door- I just bought it because it looked pretty. That’s completely my fault though, not the product.

So these came in original plastic packaging. Nothing wrong as I can tell. We’re so excited to find these we ordered them right away, didn’t even realize there wasn’t a way to lock the door. So unfortunately we can’t use these because we only have bedroom and bathroom doors that I feel need locks. So I will be returning these but get these- they are heavy and seem really well done.

Very nice old fashion looking door knob. Love the glass handles. Made of very good quality materials. Fits great on an old door set up. Do not purchase this if you plan on replacing a regular modern door knob set up. It won't work. it will only work with a 3/4" center hole because the two escutcheons require two 3/32" holes for wood screws to attach them to the door. The knobs are secured by a through rod that has a set screw to hold them on.

So, I bought this so I could use the Victorian era brass backer plate you see pictured, but it truly is beautiful on its own (also pictured). It is nicely made and definitely made of solid materials….no plastic here! Quickly adds that vintage charm with very little effort. More doors in my house will likely be getting their own new knobs soon!
