Cheapened to the limit. Can't be made any lower quality. Prime-Line has been making this handle for decades. I have some going back to the 70's. With each passing decade, Prime-Line cheapens the handle. Parts that used to be solid metal became stamped steel or zinc. Then the metal was replaced with plastic. The latching mechanism was cheapened so much that it barely functions. So technically, it "works". But the latch mechanism binds up because it's just cheap plastic pressing against the door frame. If you have the right tools and the inclination to improve the latch, you can improve it to the point that it's barely acceptable.

I thought it no longer available anywhere. Only Wayfair has it. The item is exactly the same as the one replaced. I would have to order again as soon as the other old one is damaged. Shipping was fast and the item arrived undamaged with good packaging.
