Bought as inexpensive option to update older bath in rental. Happy with product, though no young children. Light weight materials may not hold up if constantly used or pulled on but perfect solution for us!

If you see 7/8" brass bar and assume this item is made of metal, you are very wrong. Other than the bar and two screws, all parts are in light weight plastic in brushed nickel finish (good finish though). The two end holders are fine in plastic because once you installed, they stay on the wall and you don't even feel they are plastic. The sliding holder will be nice if it is of brass or other metal or at least better engineered. When you loose the thump screw to slide the holder up and down, the shower mount come loose too and the shower head, due to it weight, will bow down and not stay in it's angle. After you tighten the thumb screw at new position, you need to readjust the angle of shower head. This is annoying.
