Really nice in my kitchen as extra seeing at my island and step ladder when I need to reach those top cupboards, well made and easy to assemble

Nice stool. 24-inch height. The color [light brown] matches my cherry cabinets nicely. I discovered that the swivel steps were captive inside the legs after I got it assembled. I had to remove the top to free the steps and put the top back on with the steps sitting outside on the floor. Then the steps would swivel up to rest against the outside of top brace. It wouldn't have been a much bigger box to ship this assembled. Putting in 12 big screws with a hex wrench is time consuming. Also took a short stool, tall stool and 3 big books to position the parts to screw it together. And a pot holder to turn the Allen wrench.

A nice looking step stool however, it took a very long time to assemble . There were no holes for the brackets on the steps. And the holes for the screws on the main chair were way too small. So, for every hole, I needed to use a drill..

My husband was able to assemble without instructions (of course). This chair is sturdy without weighing a ton. I am 69. I can carry it easily and this stool is the right height for grandkids to sit at the table.

I couldn't put the stool together. Neither could my very adept sister... who is very capable. A lot of the holes where screws should have gone were missing. So she took it to her husband my brother-in-law. He used his workshop to drill the holes without splitting the wood and get it put together. Disappointing to say the least...Sadly not unusual these days.
