These are really nice to replace the ugly vent covers that came with our heating system. They are heavy, solid, and add a note of elegance to our floors. There is an inside lip that fits snugly into the vent opening.

I do love the style. My only regret is that they do not have the flaps to control the air stream and you can see straight down the vents. They are gorgeous but now I really have to clean my vents.
