To measure your duct opening for an 4" x 10" vent, simply measure the width and length of the inside edges of the duct opening. The width should be 4 inches, and the length should be 10 inches. Ensure your measurements are taken from edge to edge for an accurate fit. Do not measure the old vent cover, remove the old vent and measure the duct opening.
