Poignée encastrée 25 à 32 po Expression 3

(english below) La poignée est livrée avec des vis trop longues qui ne tiennent pas compte du fait qu'elles sont encastrées. Elles devraient être vendues avec des vis 8-32 3/4". L'arrière ou fond de la poignée se désolidarise trop facilement de la façade. C'est problématique car, une fois installées, elles peuvent prendre du jeu et cliqueter. Prévoyez de placer un carton mince entre le fond de la poignée et la défonce. L'installation est hasardeuse pour un non professionnel (ce à quoi je m'attendais) mais un gabarit et des instructions de pose pourraient aider. Je conseille d'ailleurs de 1) commencer par percer les trous des vis, 2) fixer la poignée, 3) dessiner le contour de l'arrière sur la porte, 4) démonter l'ensemble, 5) faire la défonce à la toupie 6) faire l'installation finale. Autrement, le produit est plutôt de bonne qualité. The handle comes with screws that are too long and which do not take into account the fact that they are recessed. They should be sold with 8-32 3/4" screws. The back of the handle is too easily detached from the front. This is problematic because, once installed, they can get loose and click. Plan to place a thin cardboard between the back of the handle and the routed part of the door. Installation is a little difficult for a non-professional (which I expected) but a jig and installation instructions might help. I advise to 1) start by drilling the screw holes, 2) attach the handle, 3) outline the back of the handle, 4) disassemble, 5) make the route 6) do the final installation. Otherwise, the product is of rather good quality.

Used on our barn doors we installed in the master bedroom. Took a little planning since this is not the normal use for this type of handle but they turned out great!

Used in a small lift lid located in the floor which opens to the crawlspace. The pull recessed just enough to prevent tripping but makes lifting the lid easy.
