Produces hot water, but has GPM WAY below what it should be for the temperature rise we have. Not sure why, and can't seem to find someone to diagnose the issue or get it resolved. As a result it's not great. Pump has gotten louder with time as well which I'm not happy about

Moving from a bulky hot water heater to this tanklesss mounted outside to save space in the garage was the real motivator - but with the recirculating valve in our master bath the benefit of nearly instant hot water is great. My only critique is that the consumer app is near worthless without buying the WiFi module. It has Bluetooth standard but all of the setup features are paywall locked to professionals so any DIYers will have to remove the cover and use manual programming settings to make adjustments. For most homeowners this is likely a non-issue as they'll just call a plumber if anything is needed - but for minor adjustments like recirculation settings it would be way more convenient to just use an app with BT.

Had for a year. Got error and failed to lite a few times. Plumber thinks it's wind because we're out in the country and we can get strong blowing up the intake / exhaust vent. Seems like something that could be fixed in the design. Also not a fan of having to remove the cover for basic settings like the comfort setting and the smart mode. Would make more sense to separate install function settings from homeowner preference settings. The wifi option seems like a money grab. It's also crazy that it has Bluetooth functionality but only for the pro (installer) account. I wasted hours trying to connect my Bluetooth only to find out i would need a pro account. On the positive side... it heats our water and it had a built in recirculation pump.

Circulating pump seems like its on far more than its off

The water heater has plenty of power for a large house, multi showers. We've had it for 6 months now, no problems. The only issue we have is with a 4000 sq foot house, the on demand quick hot water does not work well, it still takes quite a while to get hot water to the furthest point. We did not want to repipe the house.
