Rinnai 24000 BTU Natural Gas Wall Mounted Space Heater with Adjustable Thermostat and with Digital Display

It’s excellent I need another Heater to purchase

Pretty sweet little unit! I live in Northern Michigan and we have had a very cold winter. My house is a 1650 ft2 bi-level with a walkout and I installed this downstairs hoping I would get some heat to rise up to the upper level. I removed my scorched air furnace and now use just this Rannai and a wood stove. When the wood stove goes out this keeps the whole house warm enough until I get the fire going. The temps lately have been between 20 and 40 and just for kicks, I decided to not have a fire. Its been three days without a fire and the house is still nice and toasty. One issue I had though was at one point it started smelling really bad. I shut it off and turned it back on a day later and the smell is gone. Its been a month since then with no problem. I don't know what that was all about. You are not supposed to use this as the only heat source for a house but I have been kind of doing that until I get my mini-split put in next fall. The plan is to use the Rannai to heat the floor some and have it help keep my electric bill lower from using the mini-split unit which runs on electric only. I have absolutely no complaints about this unit and would recommend it for a complimentary heat source. I will be purchasing one for my garage some day!

Use for 3 months now to heat my garage/workshop. Excellent heater, easy to connect to the existing outlet on the gas line in the garage....no costly pipe fitting.

Awsome heater for my garage in Fort Mcmurray Alberta. Install was super easy and it vents right into the room. Lots of heat while the fan moved the heat around. Doesn't take up much space which was important to me. It's also super quiet. Not sure what else to ask for. I highly recommend this heater.
