I like the hot water on demand, it’s nice not to run out of hot water anymore. No more complaining from my daughter about running out of hot water. I did invest in a water softener and water line filter system that sits just before the Rinnia tankless hot water system. The area in which I live has hard water. I wish I got is the wireless module so could keep an eye on the system stats.

The endless hot water is amazing. Our HVAC room is in our loft, since we are on a slab (did not want a basement). We did not want a conventional 55 gallon hot water heater sitting above our main level. We have had this system almost one year and love it.

Enjoying the freed up space from a natural gas hot water tank; the cleanliness of the water (i.e., we are no longer seeing discolouration in the corners of our homes 3 glassed in showers; the savings from constantly heating a 40 gallon heater; not risking/dealing with another tank leak at any time, let alone when travelling or away on vacation and the speed with which hot/warm water flows on demand to and across the various sinks, showers, bathrooms, washing machine, situated across our bungalow home.

Works well. Less than 1 year old. So far, no issues. Endless hot water.

It takes forever now for me to get hot water to my faucets. Like gallons worth of water down the drain every time. Mine doesn’t have a hot water recirc or pre-warm feature so it just takes forever. Winter time was when I got it installed and that was the worst because the freezing street pipe water comes in from the hot for gallons at a time until my Rinnai finally heats it up. And if I stop running the hot at any time the freezing cold water comes right back. Which is a terrible mistake in the bath or shower if you turn the faucet balance too low and the Rinnai stops running for some reason even for a moment. Learn from my mistakes.
