Bought 2 of these Rowenta air purifiers about a year apart. Worked good for about a year. Then fan started to squeak on lowest, supposedly "quiet" setting. Seems to be failing. Only warrantied for 1 year. Very disappointed since I trusted Rowenta brand name. We have other fan products (air fans, heaters) where the fan is still running after even 10 years, no issues. This is a very simple product -fan pulling air through a filter. Should not fail so soon.

Also, with everyone at home, I cook 3-4 meals and this really takes the food smell out. It is quiet while in operation and so far, I am so happy with this product. Highly recommend it.

As someone who has suffered from asthma since childhood, I want a better future for my children. Practically, I don't want something that exclusively measures the air quality in my home, I want something that goes a step beyond and provides a concrete solution. This device qualifies. It provides a color coded light system as a visual indicator of the air quality in a room. Should I find it lacking or want to maintain the status quo, there are four modes to choose from quiet, daytime, nighttime, and turbo. I love that the nighttime mode automatically incorporates the quiet mode and turns off the lights (the latter can also be done without shifting modes). Given that it is primarily used in my children's room, I am ecstatic about the child lock. I love the peace of mind that comes with knowing that my little ones can't alter the settings. Aside from those components, I love that the air purifier is easy to set up, compact, lightweight and requires minimal maintenance for optimal function. Overall, I am happy with the quality and performance of this product.

Since putting the Rowenta air purifier in my office, I have noticed that I can breath better and do not sneeze as frequently. The carbon filter helps with odors, especially so the scents from the kitchen don't stay trapped in my office. The unit runs quietly, with only a minimal amount of white noise that is not intrusive at all. The filters are easy to change. Overall, the machine is easy to operate and does exactly what I need it to do, which is provide me with some allergy relief.

So far it is kept a good job in keeping my son's allergies without any problems
