The shower panel functions as described and looks great. The drawback is there are not sufficient instructions to assemble it. To assemble, remove the top plate and connect the water line to the overhead shower and the electrical connection. Then replace the plate ensuring the plate is flush to the back. For all of the fittings, apply the nylon plumbers tape as provided. You can decide whether you want to use the flexible hoses to connect to the water supply or plumb directly to the mixing valve. As I was doing a tub to shower conversion, I installed blocking to have a place to screw into wood for the brackets rather than relying on the anchors provided. I feel the price was quite good compared to installing a shower valve and kit. I like the valve is not in the wall space so it can't leak between the walls into the space below (ie my supply lines extend into the shower space) which is what I have experience with my older valves..
