I thought I was buying an already assembled barn door. It looks like all I got was lumber that I have to personally put together. I am contemplating returning it

We put the door together and loved it. When we went to stain it there were several places on both sides of the door that wouldn't take the stain and I was disappointed about that. I am sending 2 pictures but there was about a dozen spots like what's in the pictures.

This is the 5th barn door I’ve bought. I’m using it as a window covering. The doors are easy to put together, and look great once paintedstained.

Door requires assembly which I thought was odd and would be difficult but it was actually quite easy with a drill. You just position the boards and drill in about 40 screws. I like the unfinished effect, though there are some flaws in the wood in some areas. There was also some warping in the bottom but not hugely noticable. Lightweight for a door which will be good when hanging. Overall satisfied for what I will be using it for.
