These doors were a disappointment. The first problem was the size. Our opening is exactly 96" high. The description of the doors say 96" high. Nowhere does it say that you actually need around 98" to fit. While the doors say they can be trimmed, they only claim 1/4", and I am not even sure that can be done. There are screws along the top and bottom of the door. I can only assume they are functional and shouldn't be removed.
The other problem is with the floor guides. The doors don't come with a bottom track, just a few guides to keep the doors from swinging. Not a problem in general, but I can't see how they would work for these doors. The stiles are thicker than the rails, meaning the bottom of the door is not a consistent thickness. I don't see how the door does not get caught on the floor guides as you open/close the doors if installing the guides to surround the door. They do have a second option to route a groove along the bottom of the door for the guides to sit in, except the bottom/top of the door have the screws in them, so I don't see how that could work either.
So now we are eating the expensive return costs to try to recoup some of our money and clear these large but useless doors out of our house.
