For any price, let alone $400, the build quality of this is below average. The main issue is that the front left corner of the sink is slightly lower / bent compared to the rest of the block - - the back portion around the faucet is level, at least. This wasn't noticeable until after installation, unfortunately. Also, the "Scarabeo" stamp on the back left corner is not aligned square, but tilted, which makes it looks cheap and messy. It seems like a small issue, but details are important at this price point, especially when buying this sink for a business. On to the design, the inner angles of the basin are not as sharp as what I expected based on the schematics. Maybe this is a limit of vitreous china; if so, there should be actual pictures of the interior, which I realize now are not present on the site. Another reviewer mentioned that there was no splash, but this is the opposite of my experience. With the faucet fully open, I was checking underneath the drain for any leaks after installation, and I could feel a light spray on my face! With a mid rise faucet, water does spray off the drain onto the sides of sink. Perhaps with a lower water pressure and shorter faucet this wouldn't happen. This sink looks amazing at first, but the design is not perfect, and the build quality is inferior. As it stands, at this price point, I won't buy from this brand ever again. Edit: My faucet/drain is actually the cause of the splashing. Also, the review is cutting off the sides of my pictures, so you can't tell what I was describing, unfortunately.

This sink is high quality and looks great in my small bathroom. It is plenty deep and wide enough and does not cause splashing from the water stream.
