This model and brand installed in minutes. No extra modifications were needed! Exactly what I needed after a most unpleasant experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After struggling with a cheap, off-brand lock I decided to go for reliability and get this. Installation was a breeze and the knob is strong and solid. I should have bypassed the first step and bought this in the first place!

Did not like the design of operation as turning the knob unlocks it, not good if you have pets. Also different is the lock button is horizontal when locked and the screws are in a vertical orientation so are more visible.
