I previously bought a bunch of these on a different site to switch out the door hardware in my whole house-The knobs I got from the other vendor site all had manufacturing defects, so maybe Schlage isn't as quality as they used to be or the other vendor is scamming people with stuff that never made it past quality control. I needed one more replacement knob because of those issues. the color is beautiful and really easy to live with, our house looks great with these installed, but FYI this is not solid brass and the handles themselves feel hollow and cheap. Wayfair at least sent me a good one that that didn't have any defects and we installed it easily. Thanks, Wayfair!
