It wears really well and it’s very difficult to scratch it. I have a dog and a cat and I’ve never seen a scratch on it. I’ve had it in for about a year now. It was pretty easy to install and I get compliments all the time and people can’t believe that it’s engineered flooring. I wish it was cheaper but for us it was basically an experiment to see if we liked the type of finish in this one room.

It gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. It's a beautiful shade of light white oak. The top veneer is good and thick. The finish is a soft satin, feels and appears durable. I purchased extra square footage thinking I may need to pull out dark or funky colored boards, but there really aren't any. Even the hardwood floor "guy" said how beautiful this floor is. We are just getting started but I'm just thrilled with the color and quality. I did purchase samples first and I do recommend doing that. I picked this up on sale and I truly feel like I won the lottery. Installation method for new construction - We are nailing, but not gluing. Love, Love Love this floor. ♥♥

Floor looks great. The planks use tongue and groove which isn't quite as easy to install as some click in floors out there. Our contractor used nails for plywood subfloor and glue on underlayment for concrete subfloor. Note that the specification on wayfair is not quite accurate as it says underlayment is not recommended and the floor can be install floating. The floor may shift if installed floating and it will be very cold without underlayment if you have concrete subfloor. I reached out to Shaw (the manufacturer) directly to get more specific installation instructions as well as stair nose piece item codes (which we bought separately from a flooring store).
