I'm not entirely sure if I measured wrong or what. It states to measure the opening in the wall, which I did and it was 12"x6" I ordered a 12x6 and the 6" fits perfectly, however the 12" is the entire size of the register, so I am unable to screw it into the wall as the screw holes are in the 12" hole. Not sure if this is a defect or wrong product description because even in the details it states to measure the wall opening, not the past register and apparently that's incorrect because it does not fit
