Silver Spring Folding Steel Scooter and Wheelchair Carrier with Ramp

This deluxe scooter, wheelchair, or power chair carrier has all the features you need for the safe and efficient transportation of your mobility aid. This carrier is easy to handle. The surface of the carrier is a heavy-duty mesh with square support tubes underneath that won't bend or flex from the weight of your mobility aid. This deluxe carrier features an extra-long bi-fold ramp. The ramp releases for loading by pulling the carrier’s unique ergonomically designed T-shaped handles. The ramp easily stows either in its upright position or can be folded flat into the carrier for better visibility and compact storage when the carrier is not in use. The deluxe wheelchair and scooter carrier have other great features that you won’t find elsewhere. When the carrier is not in use it can be conveniently folded up vertically against the back of the vehicle by releasing one pin on the side of the carrier. This makes it safer to drive your vehicle and parking either outdoors or in your garage easier. Usage Guidelines: Please note, hitch-mounted mobility carriers are not recommended for use on tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel and camping trailers, motor homes, or RVs. Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch and be aware that your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension and prevent sagging. Carriers are not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a riser adapter.
