Bought 40 tiles for a backsplash. I eexpected the package to be large, but 40 tiles showed up in a stack less than 2 inches thick. I thought they would be substantially thicker. So, when you put them up on the wall it feels like you are putting up wall paper tiles. But, in the end when you step back and look at them they do look good. p.s. make sure you draw a straight horizontal line after you determine a good height along your counter top that will allow you to place tiles that do not need to be cut. The line ensures good alignment for the next row of tiles without gaps
