The arms are short: 5 inches. Don't be misled by the photo and one the review talking about 17 inches arms. I returned the product and am still waiting for my refund.

This is a very nice stainless steel towel hanging set. Installation is easy, material is well crafted but for $130! I can get some other brands for 12 the cost.

Love this item would downgrade it half a point if I could since I wish the arms were just a little longer to accommodate oversized towels.

This towel rail accomplishes a lot in a small space. The arms fold flat to the wall, swing out easily, and hold their positions, giving plenty of space to dry or air a couple of things. The little hooks at the end keep stuff from sliding off. A terrific item for a bathroom.
