Had to order this arm for my shower head to direct the water straight down. It is metal and I got black to match my fixtures. Nice quality!

I love it the shower arm compliments my multi function rain shower head that I also got from Wayfair. I am glad I got it, it was also easy to install came with everything I needed (Teflon tape and Allen wrench for flange) except for wrench to tighten the shower arm and shower head.
