I replaced the hinges on a walk-in closet. The hinges do cover the trim however, it is on the inside of the closet. I am very happy with the couple inches gained by switching out the hinges.

Sturdy hinges make more room for a person in a wheelchair to get through. Very helpful!

So grateful for these hinges, they allow almost an additional 2 “ for my son’s wheelchair to clear the entry to his room. No more black marks and scratches on the door! )

These hinges are a good quality product. I was able to quickly replace the standard hinges with the these offset hinges and now the door is able to swing outside the jamb in front of the casing. Measured from the door stop to the edge of the 1-3/8” door this allows 1-3/4” more width between the door stops and gave us the space needed for my wife’s power chair to fit through the door opening.

I purchased these so that my son (who's in a wheelchair) could have the maximum doorway space allowable. These hinges are amazine!!
