12" x 12" Slate Stone Look Wall & Floor Tile

It took awhile to have it finally delivered due to shipping, but communication with Wayfair was great about the delay. The only reason I gave it four stars was because two tiles were broken, and four of the tiles did not have a copper look more of a reddish appearance.

It made a nice hearth for a wood stove. The colors are great, from a shiny bright to fully tarnished penny. Did not come in 4 boxes but 3 loose tiles strapped between two wrapped packages, all strapped to a pallet. 3 or 4 tiles were crushed or broken and some colors and surface texture didn't match, so order more than 10% extra. Probably C grade or lower, The edges varied from 1/4" to almost 3/4" and many were warped so expect a lot of lippage. The gauged backs were quite uneven and irregular, so back buttering is essential when installing. Forms a very uneven surface for walking but perfect for a rustic hearth.
